This song is said to be one of many songs exchanged in rivalry between him and other Jamaican artist Vybz Kartel. Kartel replied with a song named 'Way Dat Fah', recorded on the same riddim. According to Wikipedia page, there is also another song named 'Battyman' that was recorded by Mavado on the same riddim. I read this this second song was an answer to Vybz Kartel's 'Way Dat Fah'. It may be a feud between to artist, but it clearly promote violence against gays. Although the 'official' release date of the single seems to be early November, it seems that the song was circulating since September 2008. |
