What scars do ear-piercing military flights and the hums of generators during blackouts leave on those forced to live with this noise? This essay film uses the sky over Lebanon as a lens to examine the militarization of airspace and the psychological toll of sonic warfare. The Diary of the Sky moves between historical traces and the present moment after October 7, 2023, revealing the sky as a battlefield, where surveillance hums, threats never cease, and silence sometimes screams the loudest. |
